New micro atx motherboard: asus x99m ws
ASUS announces the X99-M WS, the most compact and complete motherboard for small format equipment (SFF) setup. It has Two-Way graphics performance at full speed (x16), USB 3.1 connectivity and Wi-Fi 802.11ac for data transmission with a maximum speed of 1300 Mbit / s.
Based on the powerful Intel® X99 chipset, the X99-M WS is the first ASUS micro-ATX format motherboard with PCIe® 3.0 slots that is capable of accommodating two dual-slot graphics. It is compatible with Two-Way NVIDIA® Geforce® SLI ™ and AMD® CrossFireX ™ configurations, making it an excellent alternative for professionals in areas such as design, graphic modeling, research, simulation, etc.
This motherboard also features space for RAID cards, PCI Express-based SSDs, video capture cards, and many other components.
With the new integrated USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type A standard, the X99-M WS allows data to be transmitted at a rate of 10 Gbit / s, twice as fast as USB 3.0. USB 3.1 is backward compatible with older generation USB devices. Exclusive USB 3.1 Boost technology further accelerates USB 3.1 performance. The X99-M WS also features 3 × 3 802.11ac Wi-Fi connectivity (3 transmit and 3 receive), a standard for transmitting data at 1300 Mbit / s, as well as an M.2 socket to install SSD storage drives.
