AMD announced on Thursday (19) the launch of a R9 300 line video card. The new Radeon is the R9 380X it comes with 15% more performance compared to the R9 380 and it has some cool features.

With very competitive prices, the graphics card comes to fight with Nvidia GTX 960. The reference model has 4 GB of GDDR5 memory running at 256 bits, which offers a bandwidth of 182.4 GB / s. The default clock is 970 MHz and 1000 MHz can be reached through overclocking. The card can achieve up to 3.97 teraflops of performance.
In addition to the VSR, the model also has AMD Eyefinity technology Support technology, for connecting multiple monitors; Crossfire for the use of up to four simultaneous boards; AMD FreeSync, which stabilizes the frame rate; and liquid VR for virtual reality.
Another good feature is the low power consumption. The model has only 190W TDP. In the standard version, power is taken through two six-pin PCIe connectors. Models with factory overclocking come with an 8 + 6-pin connector.
Several manufacturers such as Asus, Gigabyte and Sapphire have confirmed the release versions for the R9 380X for the American market. Spanish consumers, however, will still have to wait a little longer.
