Zalman oymyakon, new liquid that promises the best performance

Zalman Oymyakon is a new series of all-in-one liquid coolers, which are very popular for their excellent performance and ease of assembly. Oymyakon is the coldest permanently inhabited place on Earth, a name that is quite a statement of intent from the manufacturer with these new heatsinks.

Coolers combine a copper CPU block with an aluminum radiator and double tubes to prevent evaporation of the cooling fluid. The pump block has a hexagonal outer shell with an embedded LED lighting system to enhance aesthetics. Three versions of 120, 240 and 360 mm will be offered to suit the needs of all users, capable of handling thermal loads of up to 250W, 350W and 400W respectively. All of them with Zalman SharkFin fans with a maximum noise of 28 dBA.

Alongside them has also been shown the Zalman CNPS10X Optima II heatsink, the successor to the original CNPS10X Optima launched in 2011. The design of the heatsink has not changed, with a tower consisting of a dense aluminum radiator and four copper copper heatpipes. 8mm thick with direct CPU contact technology. The novelty is in an improved fan and support for new sockets like AM4 and LGA2066.

The new 120mm fan is based on a new split-blade impeller that improves airflow, allowing increased performance without increased loudness. The new impeller is translucent and includes a white LED lighting system to enhance aesthetics. This heatsink allows to handle a heat load of up to 200W TDP.

Lastly, we have the Zalman CNPS9X Optima which features a more compact radiator and the same four copper heatpipes that branch out through various points on the fin. Includes a 120mm fan, can handle thermal loads up to 180W, and like the Optima II, is compatible with AM4 and LGA2066 platforms.
