Yesterday we gave you information about the new Asus GeForce GTX 980Ti STRIX OC graphics card that arrives with the new DirectCu III heatsink with a triple fan configuration and today we find new images and characteristics of the card.

The Asus GeForce GTX 980 Ti STRIX OC keeps its fans off until the core of the card reaches a temperature of 65ÂșC, at which point they start spinning to keep the heat in check. In this way we have a completely silent operation of the graphics card in situations of rest or low graphics load.

The heatsink consists of a long aluminum fin radiator and several 10mm nickel-plated copper heatpipes that absorb the heat generated by the GPU and distribute it over the radiator surface for dissipation. The set is completed with three 100mm fans with independent speed control using the ASUS GPU Tweak tool software.

Finally, the card comes with a large PCB, being 1.5 times higher than that of the reference model and covered on the back by a backplate. On its frequencies it has been revealed that it will arrive with an overclock of 15% with respect to the reference model without specifying more details.
