Qnap GPOE-2P-R20, 4P-R20 and 6P-R10 are the new cards that have been introduced. PCIe network cards for PC and NAS

We will start with the two smallest cards and features, these being the Qnap GPOE-2P-R20 and the Qnap GPOE-4P-R20. These are two cards that operate under a PCI-Express 3.0 x1 interface that offers wired Ethernet connectivity under the IEEE 802.3 af / at protocol .

We then have a total of two 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 ports on the GPOE-2P-R20 model that support PoE of up to 30W on each port, ideal for surveillance cameras, for example. In addition, they support link aggregation and jumbo frames up to 9 KB.

The third and last card model, the Qnap GPOE-6P-R10, which will be connected to a PCIe x4 or x8 slot. It offers a total of 6 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 ports and works under the IEEE 802.3 bt protocol . Thus increasing the PoE support to 90W per port, although they support a total of 180W. For this reason, an 8-pin ATX connector will be needed to provide extra power to the network card.
