New thermaltake a700 and a500 premium flavor in chassis a series

We are at Thermaltake's house, and the Taiwanese brand has brought us many solutions for professional and gaming setups. And it has added two new towers to its elegant A series with the Thermaltake A700 and A500, full of glass and an aluminum helmet that gives it that Premium touch that a demanding user asks for.

Thermaltake A700 full tower chassis

Without a doubt the brand has done a great job in the design of this chassis that is presented to us in a full tower configuration. This means that we will have a lot of weight, but also a lot of space inside to have fun.

This version launched is called Aluminum Tempered Glass, obviously because we found an aluminum case that covers its front and upper area, and two tempered glass on both sides and well secured with a tilt-and-turn hinge system. These crystals are inserted in both front corners and the rear area, giving a very original appearance and also with a rather pronounced darkening.

It offers a capacity of four 3.5 or 2.5 inch HDDs on the left side, and on the PSU cover. This model is wide enough to hold CPU coolers up to 200mm, graphics cards up to 420mm, and PSUs up to 220mm.

We also have two pre-installed 140mm fans, but it is capable of accommodating up to three 140mm in the front, two 200mm or also radiators up to 420mm. In the upper area we have the same capacity for both radiators and fans. Finally we have an I / O panel provided with two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 and a USB Type-C.

Thermaltake A500, a semi-tower with great capacity

Now we are going to quickly see the other chassis of the A series, in this case it is a semi-tower configuration and also with aluminum finishes on its front and upper area and glass on both sides.

As it is a semi-tower, we understand that the ventilation capacity decreases a little, with a front that eye, incorporates three 120 mm fans, and has capacity for three 140 mm or radiators up to 420 mm. The top is reduced a bit by supporting two 140 units, three 120 units and 360mm radiators.

In terms of hardware capacity, being a narrower chassis supports heatsinks up to 160mm, VGAs up to 420mm by removing the HDD rack and PSUs up to 220mm. It is not bad either, it is a perfect chassis for high-end assemblies, although it is true that the heatsinks will be a little limited in height.
