New gigabyte z97 challenge
GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of motherboards and graphics cards, today announces its new overclocking contest hosted at HWBOT.org, the GIGABYTE Z97-Pentium AE 'Beat the Heat' Challenge, whose main focus will be on the new motherboards. GIGABYTE 9-series base and G3258 Intel® Pentium® Anniversary Edition CPU. The challenge is open to all HWBOT.org overclockers and will be divided into 5 separate tests in which various benchmarks will be run with air / water cooling and LN2. The winners will pocket a total of USD $ 2000 in cash and two GIGABYTE Z97X-SOC LN2. There will also be a raffle in which five participants will carry a GIGABYTE G-Powerboard kit.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Pentium® brand, Intel has made available to the overclocking community a non-blocking processor with great potential at a very affordable price. To put this bad boy to the test, GIGABYTE offers the HWBOT community a chance to see if they can stay cool and win great prizes from August 24 to September 28, 2014.

Contest rules
All tests must be performed with a GIGABYTE 9 Series motherboard (except the Z97 SOC FORCE LN2) and an Intel® Pentium® G3258. All screenshots must include the contest wallpaper and benchmark score. All submissions must be accompanied by a photo of the equipment used with the contest background included. The usual HWBOT shipping and verification rules will apply. Test 1 is open to beginner, novice or HWBOT enthusiast overclockers, using only air / water cooling (LN2 is not allowed). Tests 2 to 5 are open to all HWBOT overclockers. To avoid being disqualified, participants in tests 2 to 5 must submit their results before the deadline of each test. In the raffle, G-Powerboard kits will be delivered in Nvidia or AMD version, interchangeably, randomly. The winners of the different tests 1 to 5 will be excluded from the draw.
