New high-performance ssd ocz vector 180
OCZ has revealed a new high performance SSD in SATA III format, it is the OCZ Vector 180 which is based on the new Barefoot 3 M00 controller and Toshiba MLC A19 memory chips that support up to 50 GB of written data every day.
The new OCZ Vector 180 comes in capacities of 240, 480 and 960 GB offering sequential read and write speeds of 550 MB / s and 530 MB / s respectively while its random read performance is 100, 000 IOPS and 95, 000 IOPS in random write. It offers a guarantee time of 5 years.
