The AORUS gaming brand follows the latest in gaming laptops and proof of this are these three new AORUS 15 beasts in which the brand has put all the meat on the grill. The new 9th generation Intel Core i7-9750H CPU makes an appearance, along with the Nvidia RTX 20x and the new addition Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti to give us the best Gaming experience at a price that is not exclusive.
New cooling system at just 2.5 cm thick
As we say, the new AORUS 15 arrive on the market to give a new twist to performance without ever giving up design quality and portability. And it is that they are gaming equipment of only 2.5 cm thick in which they have introduced a new cooling system, and the truth is that it was something that we were already asking for.
This system consists of two fans with 71 propellers working at 12 V that capture and expel all the heat that captures the numerous heatpipes installed on the CPU and the graphic card. We have a lower grille that occupies almost 50% of this area that is responsible for the air intake and four other lateral grilles that are responsible for expelling it backwards. In previous reviews, we could already notice that the previous system fell somewhat short for the new hardware available, so good work here for AORUS.
9th generation Intel Core, 240 Hz display and GTX 16
The internal hardware has also been greatly updated, since we have an entire Intel Core i7-9750H that offers us a clock speed of 2.6 GHz up to 4.5 GHz in turbo mode. It also has 6 cores and 12 processing threads that will give us great performance for multitasking, gaming and also for rendering multimedia content in high resolution. The availability of RAM is 16 or 32 GB at 2666 MHz, expandable up to 64 GB.

The new generation of Nvidia graphics cards is also present, with an entire RTX 2070 for the AORUS 15-XA model, RTX 2060 for the AORUS 15-WA and the new Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti for the AORUS 15-SA model, which is surely the most attractive from a performance / price point of view or at least we hope so. We do not yet have versions available with the GTX 1660 or 1650, so we will have to wait. In any case, we will not only have Ray Tracing in real time in the RTX versions, you will already know that the new Nvidia drivers allow this function in all GTX Turing and also Pascal.
The next thing we have is a 15.6-inch screen that works at a Full HD resolution. As for the refresh rate, we will have two versions, an impressive 240 Hz Sharp IGZO LCD panel with antighosting that is mounted on the 15-XA model, and a 144 Hz LG IPS panel for the other two models.
All Intel Inside technology and Microsoft Azure AI
What does All Intel Inside mean? Well, very simple, it means that the rest of the main components of the laptop are also the responsibility of Intel. So in this case we have a M.2 NVME Intel 760p SSD as a storage system, but also enough space to install a 2.5-inch SSD or HDD and another extra M.2 slot.
For Wi-Fi connectivity we have the best that Intel has to offer for now, an Intel Killer 1550 chip along with another RJ45 GbE connector for wired networks. Nor do we forget the NAHIMIC 3 sound system with double speakers on the sides.
Microsoft also contributes its grain of sand with its exclusive Microsoft Azure AI service, which will collect the data generated by the PC based on our preferences and will pass it through the Microsoft Artificial Intelligence platform to determine the best CPU and GPU configuration. It is a space of intelligent control of the hardware to optimize performance, temperature and consumption.
