The new Android tablets from the Asus firm already have a name: the Asus Memo Pad 8 and the Asus Memo Pad 10.

The main difference between them, as you can guess is the size of the screen, 8 inches in the case of the Memo Pad 8 and 10 inches in the Memo Pad 10. We still cannot confirm any data about when any of the two models on the market or at what price, only that they can be purchased in black, white or pink.

The size of the Asus Memo Pad 8 is 212mm long x 127mm high and 9.95mm thick and weighs 350 grams. In the case of the Asus Memo Pad 10, it has dimensions of 256 mm long x 174 mm high and 10.5 mm thick with a weight of 522 grams.

The operating system is Android 4.2 with a slightly modified interface in both one and another model. Both work with a quad-core processor at a speed of 1.6 Ghz.

As we have already mentioned, the screen size is 8 inches and 10 inches on the Memo Pad 8 and Memo Pad 10 respectively. The resolution is exactly the same on both tablets: 1280 × 800 pixels, a pretty good resolution also counting that it has IPS LED technology.

The RAM is 1 GB on the Memo Pad 8 and on the Memo Pad 10. That yes, the internal memory is different. And is that the 8-inch tablet has only an 8 GB version while the 10-inch tablet has two versions, one with 8 GB of ROM and the other with 16 GB. In any case, the memory is expandable by inserting an external microSD memory card.

The rear camera is 2 megapixels in the case of the Asus Memo Pad 8 and 5 megapixels in the Asus Memo Pad 10 tablet. The latter also incorporates GPS + GLONASS. Either tablet also supports video recording with 720p resolution. The front camera of both models is 1.2 megapixels.

And finally the battery. The Memo Pad 8 has a capacity of 3950 mAh, with which you have up to approximately 9 hours of use. And the Memo Pad 10 tablet has a 5070 mAh battery, for about 9.5 hours of use.
