Each SKU in the Intel Xeon E-2100 series has six / four cores with a maximum base frequency of 3.8GHz and Turbo Boost 2.0 up to 4.7GHz, with a 12MB cache and a thermal design of up to 95 watts. All but three of them include the Intel HD Graphics P630 graphics core, a mid-range integrated graphics chip with 24 runtime units at a clock speed of 350 MHz that lacks built-in DRAM.

The Xeon E-2100 series processors feature up to 40 PCI-Express 3.0 lanes and two channels of DDR4 2666 with support for a total of 128GB EEC, standard storage that can detect and correct common types of data corruption. They also offer up to 6 USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, ten USB 3.0 ports, and eight SATA Gen 3 ports, plus support for Thunderbolt 3.0.

Intel claims an overall 48 percent improvement over the 2014 Xeon series, and up to 1.39 times over the previous generation. However, the Xeon E-2100 series processors are only available in a single-socket configuration, and support for 128GB of memory won't arrive at launch, but sometime in 2019 via a BIOS update..
