Aorus, the gaming division of Gigabyte, has announced the launch of its new Aorus X7 DT and X5 laptops, with the powerful and advanced eighth-generation Intel Core i7-8850H processor, and with the multiplier unlocked for overclocking.

The new Gigabyte Aorus X7 DT and X5 unite all the power of the Intel Core i7-8850H processor and the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics, to offer sensational performance in the most advanced and demanding video games. All this under an advanced cooling system with copper heatpipes and several fans, to keep temperatures low, even with overclocking the processor and the graphics card.

In the case of the Gigabyte Aorus X7 X5, it offers us two SO-DIMM slots with support for a maximum of 32 GB of DDR4 memory at 2666 MHz, the Gigabyte Aorus X7 DT offers four slots and support for up to 64 GB. As for storage, they include 2 M.2 PCIe slots for NVMe SSDs, and 1 2.5 ”slot for a large capacity mechanical disk.

Both teams have an IPS screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and the support of G-Sync technology, to offer maximum smoothness in games. This display comes with X-Rite Panetone backing, ensuring excellent factory calibration. In the case of the Gigabyte Aorus X7 DT it reaches 17.3 inches and in the case of the Gigabyte Aorus X7 X5 it reaches 15.6 inches. The use of IPS technology allows to offer great image quality and perfect viewing angles.
