Nvidia has announced its most powerful professional graphics card ever created, it is the Tesla K80 that incorporates two GPUs GK210 totaling 4992 CUDA Cores, 416 TMUs and 96 ROPs accompanied by nothing more and less than 24 GB of VRAM GDDR5 memory through a dual 384-bit interface.
The new Tesla K80 is twice as fast as the Tesla K40 offering 2.9 TFLOPs double precision computing power. As for the computing power in simple precision, it amounts to 8 TFLOPs.
As for VRAM, thanks to its 384-bit double interface, it is able to offer a bandwidth of 480 GB / s, a lower amount than that offered by TITAN Z but in return it offers 24 GB of capacity compared to 12 GB of this.
