NVIDIA has announced that it will stop publishing Game Ready drivers for its Fermi graphics cards. This means that all of its future Game Ready controllers, starting with the ones that will be released later this month, will only be available for the Kepler, Maxwell and current Pascal series GPUs.
Mythical NVIDIA Fermi graphics cards will no longer be supported by Game Ready drivers
NVIDIA Game Ready drivers are optimized for the latest games and include performance enhancements, new features, and bug fixes. However, and while there will no longer be any new Game Ready drivers for Fermi GPUs, NVIDIA will continue to release security drivers for these graphics cards until January 2019.
