Apparently NVIDIA is already preparing a GTX 1050 Max-Q series that also includes the Ti version, the last of the GTX 10 generation that needed to make the leap.

GTX 1050 Max-Q and its Ti version are filtered in Linux drivers

The new Max-Q graphics cards, without prior notice, were detected in the changelog of Linux drivers. The GTX 1050 Ti Max-Q would be the last card in the GTX 10 series to be included in this series specially designed for laptops.

It appears that the new cards point directly to the recently announced RX Vega M GL. The faster variant of this solution (GH) offers slightly better performance than the GTX 1060 Max-Q, making the GTX 1050 Max-Q more likely to compete with the RX Vega GL with 20 CUs.

NVIDIA GeForce 1050 (Ti)
01/13/2018 Boost Clock FP32 Performance
GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (Desktop) 1392 MHz 2.14 TFLOPS
GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (Mobile) 1620 MHz 2.49 TFLOPS
GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Max-Q (Mobile) 1417 MHz 2.18 TFLOPS
GeForce GTX 1050 (Desktop) 1455 MHz 1.86 TFLOPS
GeForce GTX 1050 (Mobile) 1493 MHz 1.91 TFLOPS
GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q (Mobile) 1328 MHz 1.70 TFLOPS

As we can see in terms of frequencies and theoretical power in TFLOPS, the GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q will have a frequency of 1328 MHz and 1.70 TFLOPS. The Ti version, meanwhile, will work at a frequency of 1417 MHz and 2.18 TFLOPS. As expected, they will work somewhat slower than their desktop versions, in order to improve their power consumption for laptops.

NVIDIA has yet to officially announce these graphics cards, but due to this 'leak' we don't think it will take too long to do so.
