Nvidia geforce x80 titan will be the new top of the range with pascal

If AMD has put the batteries with Polaris, Nvidia will not be left behind with Pascal and its strategy begins with a change in the nomenclature of its graphics cards. Thus, according to a new unofficial leak, the Nvidia GeForce X80 Titan will be the new top of the range with Pascal and promises to give Polaris a lot of fight.

Nvidia GeForce X80 Titan, Pascal and HBM2 team up

The Nvidia GeForce X80 Titan will be the new flagship graphics card for Nvidia and will be based on a GP100 GPU with Pascal architecture and with a total of 6, 144 CUDA Cores, 384 TMUs and 192 ROPs operating at a maximum frequency of 1 GHz to offer an impressive 3D performance. The GPU is accompanied by 16 GB of new generation stacked memory HBM2 that promises to double the bandwidth of the first generation HBM with 1, 024 GB / s, or what is the same 1 TB / s finally reaching this figure. Its TDP will remain at 225W making it a very energy efficient GPU and there is still plenty of room for an even more powerful new unit.

It will be based on the same GP100 GPU but trimmed with a total of 5120 CUDA Cores, 320 TMUs and 160 ROPs operating at 1025 MHz. In this case, the GPU is accompanied by 8 GB of GDDR5 memory at a frequency of 8 GHz and a bandwidth of 512 GB / s, thus matching the potential of first-generation HBM memory. Its TDP would remain at 225W.

A further step down is the GeForce X80 with the GP104 GPU made up of 4096 CUDA Cores, 256 TMUs and 128 ROPs at a frequency of 1 GHz and a fairly generous 6 GB of GDDR5 memory running at a clock speed of 8GHz with a 384-bit interface and a bandwidth of 384 GB / s. Its TDP would be 175W
