Nvidia has officially released its Geforce 417.35 WHQL drivers for Windows operating systems, adding support for the next major Final Fantasy XV update, which is ready to bring support for DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) to the game.

Nvidia Releases Geforce 417.35 Drivers

DLSS is designed to improve the performance and graphic fidelity of compatible games, either by increasing the resolution of low-resolution frames to higher resolutions or by offering 'supersampling' over the native resolution of a screen. Nvidia / Square Enix is likely to use DLSS to improve the performance of Final Fantasy XV, as this is what DLSS is currently doing in Final Fantasy XV's benchmarking tool, which is completely independent of the base game.

Nvidia's Geforce 417.35 driver also adds several notable bug fixes to the mix, addressing Ansel- related issues in Battlefield V, white-screen issues in Rocket League, and texture issues in Hitman 2 Silent Assassin.
