Hackintosh fans have encountered a major problem until now, and that is that Nvidia did not have drivers for its Pascal graphics for the Mac operating system, something that made it impossible to use these characteristic devices with the latest hardware from the giant of the graphics.

You can now use Pascal on Mac

Finally, Nvidia has released the beta version of its GeForce drivers that give its Pascal cards compatibility with the Apple operating system, with which Hackintosh users can now update their computers or build a new one with the latest green ones. This is the first time that GeForce GTX 10-series graphics cards can be used in the Mac operating system.

In addition to Hackintoshs, it is already possible to use an external adapter to connect a GeForce GTX 10 to a MacBook Pro, something that on the other hand is not possible with desktop computers. This can greatly improve the potential of Apple teams in the case of using applications that make very intensive use of GPU processing.

The new beta drivers for Pascal for Mac can now be downloaded from the official Nvidia website.
