Little by little, more information about Nvidia Pascal is leaking. And now the first performance tests have come out with the 3DMark benchmark. Among them we have come across the powerful GTX 1080, GTX 1070 and the most affordable GTX 1060. The performance is what we expected, although it is not yet confirmed by Nvidia itself .

The first table we see a graphics card with 7680 MB GDDR5 (does not reach 8GB) and with a speed of 2000 to 8000 effective MHz with a performance very similar to the GTX 980 Ti that we have tested in our test bench and based on the GM204 chip that comes configured with 4 or 8GB of 7000 MHz memory. It appears that it will come out with 512-bit interface memory and a TDP of 225 Watts. Will it really be the GTX 1080? Will it be included in our guide to the best graphics cards of the moment?

The second tests correspond to the alleged GTX 1070 with 8GB of GDDR5 memory at 8000 Mhz and with a performance very similar to that of the GTX 970 with a little overclock. Although according to the sources it could be the Mobile option for laptops, which we also doubt.

We are already standing on the latest graphics card with 3 GB of memory at 2500 MHz with 10, 000 effective MHz that should use the GDDR5X and its performance is very similar to a GTX 970 with a bus of 128 to 192 bits and a bandwidth of 160 to 240 GB / s.

It is also curious that 3DMARK continues to recognize 545 MHz in its core, which is a classic bug when the benchmark does not recognize the graphics card. So we can pin these results.

After seeing these tests we wonder if these captures are true and if they are confirmed… we are facing a real rehash of the new platform and that it will not be worth changing our GTX 970 / GTX 980 Ti for these models. But as we indicated in our title it is a simple rumor.
