NVIDIA G-SYNC Mini LED
Mini-LED displays make G-SYNC ULTIMATE compatible monitors even better. We have already been able to see the first models, such as those that ASUS has presented on this first day of Computex 2019, which we have already told you about today.
These monitors will have the ability to play content at 144Hz in 4K and HDR-10. Although, instead of doing it with a controllable 384-zone LED backlight, they will be increased by 50%, offering a total of 576 zones on a 27-inch screen. This is what we have seen in the new gaming monitor that ACER has already presented.
In addition, NVIDIA announces three other new monitors that will be G-SYNC compatible. The list in this way is increased to 28 different models. The three new models that get this compatibility are: Dell 52417HGF, HP X25 and LG 27GL850.

ASUS and Acer have also announced new 35-inch curved monitors with G-Sync Ultimate. So they promise to be key developments in this market segment.
G-SYNC Compatible Testing: Phase 1 complete
At CES 2019, NVIDIA revealed that there were going to be about 500 screens in its G-SYNC Compatibility program. The company started with a list of 541 models, of which 508 were available for testing. Of the 508 monitors, there have been 272 that failed the test due to insufficient VRR range. Another 208 were discarded due to problems such as image quality. So they have left 28 models validated for G-SYNC Compatibility.
