Nvidia Introduces Geforce 398.36 Whql Drivers

NVIDIA has just released the new GeForce 398.36 WHQL graphics drivers. These drivers are ready to support Ubisoft's recent “The Crew 2”.

GeForce 398.36 WHQL is here and not only brings support for The Crew 2, they also bring new and updated SLI profiles for titles like Dark Souls Remastered, Hand of Fate 2, Need for Speed ​​Payback and Super Mega Baseball 2.

Also included is a 3D Vision profile for Output Zero - Good. Fixed issues include Pascal graphics cards spontaneously crashing in Gears of War 4, this has been fixed in these drivers. Fixed an issue where the G-SYNC remains active after a game, and that a game may crash when released in Surround mode and many other fixes.

The Crew 2 is a driving game from Ubisoft that was released very recently, these controllers should give more performance in this game, in theory.

Problems that were fixed in this version

• : A blue screen may be produced while playing the game.: Turning 3D display settings on and off from the Windows settings page does not affect the stereoscopic 3D settings page of the NVIDIA Control Panel.: G-SYNC may still be active after closing a game, causing visual problems on the desktop. Multiple games crash when started in surround mode.: With HDR enabled, full-screen video playback without HDR may cause damage or flicker to the video.: Blue screen occurs with Driver_Power_State_Failure error when booting the system. A black screen appears when starting Windows after installing the 397.93 screen driver.
