If you are going to buy a new laptop, wait. New benchmarks of upcoming RTXs for laptops have been leaked.

We have news about the upcoming NVIDIA RTX for laptops, specifically 3 GPUs: RTX 2080 Super, RTX 2070 Super and an improved RTX 2060. With the imminent launch of the 10th generation of Intel chips, NVIDIA is clear about the renewal of its graphics cards. Benchmark results have been filtered in these 3 new RTX, so we will tell you below.

NVIDIA RTX for Laptops: 2080 Super, 2070 Super, and 2060 Lurking

The next 10th generation Intel " H " chips are in the offing, which will follow a 14nm process. As more interesting models, we observe the following:

  • i9-10980HK. i9-10880H. i7-10750H. i5-10500H. i5-10300H.

The mentioned processors will be accompanied by very powerful NVIDIA graphics cards, such as the 8 GB RTX 2080 Super, 8 GB RTX 2070 Super, 8 GB RTX 2070 and a new 6 GB RTX 2060. Thanks to Twitter user @_rogame, we know new details about 3 new RTX.

RTX 2080 Super

Starting with the RTX 2080 Super, it will have the same TU104 Turing core as the desktop version, 3, 072 stream processors, and 8GB of video memory. It would have two versions: Max-Q and the standard one. As for the standard, its frequency will be 1365 MHz and it will have a TDP of 150W. The results in benchmarks are as follows:

  • 3DMark Time Spy: 9861 points. Fire Strike: 24113 points. 3DMark11: 32, 821 points.

The Max-Q version will offer less performance, being 735 MHz frequency, a memory frequency of 11 GHz (compared to 14 GHz in the standard version) and a TDP of 80 W. Its results:

  • Time Spy: 7938 points. Fire Strike: 18, 871 points. 3DMark11: 25, 712 points.

RTX 2070 Super

Like the RTX 2080, the RTX 2070 Super for notebooks will have the same two versions. The regular version will offer a TU104 core, 2560 stream processors, and 8GB of video memory. Its core frequency is 1140 MHz, memory frequency is 14 GHz and TDP is 115W. His benchmark points are these:

  • Time Spy: 8337 points. Fire Strike: 20, 760 points. 3DMark11: 27, 765 points.

Finishing with the Max-Q version, we would have a frequency of 900 MHz, 8GB of memory, 11 Gbps and a TDP of 80 W. The results:

  • Time Spy: 7, 336 points. 3DMark11: 22, 639 points.

RTX 2060

Finally, the new RTX 2060 will have the following:

  • TU106 core. 1920 stream processors. 1005 MHz base frequency. 6 GB of memory. 192-bit bandwidth (compared to the 256-bit of its older sisters). 65 W TDP.

The results obtained in the benchmarks are as follows:

  • Time Spy: 6, 275 points. Fire Strike: 16, 984 points. 3DMark11: 20, 147 points.

NVIDIA seems to have the following line of RTX notebook GPUs ready. The results are very good, but it is clear that a normal RTX 2070 is worth more than an RTX 2080 Max-Q.

We recommend the best laptops on the market

What do you think of these results? Do you think they will be the best laptop GPUs?
