For months it has been pointing to the arrival of new Nvidia GeForce graphics cards for the end of summer of this year 2018, which could be placed sometime in September. A report notes that Nvidia has informed its partners about its upcoming GeForce family of products, codenamed "Turing, " and with a GeForce 11 or GeForce 20 business nomenclature.

Nvidia would have started working with its partners to manufacture the new GeForce

This is the first step for a 2-3 month process that would culminate in the launch of the new Nvidia graphics cards, which will be the successors of the current GeForce 10 that arrived more than two years ago with the Pascal architecture.. Nvidia would have given its partners a list of materials to start developing PCBs and cooling systems for this new generation of graphics cards.

We recommend reading our post on MSI Trident A, a very compact device with GeForce GTX 1080Ti

The first to arrive would be the Founders Edition versions, manufactured by Nvidia itself and which are the reference model. A little later would come the custom models from Nvidia's partners, with more advanced PCBs and cooling systems than the Founders Edition models. Nvidia CEO J en-Hsun Huang said during Computex 2018 that the new GeForce cards are still a long way off, so all of this information needs to be grabbed until we have official confirmation. Of course we don't know what far away means to Jen-Hsun either.

Nvidia's new graphics cards are expected to use GDDR6 memory and TSMC's 12nm FinFET manufacturing process vs. Pascal's 16-14nm FinFET. What do you expect from the new Nvidia graphics cards?
