Ocz saber 1000, ssd for business environments
OCZ has released its second SSD storage device to the market since it has been under the command of Toshiba, it is the OCZ Saber 100 that has been specially designed for business environments.
The new OCZ Saber 1000 comes in capacities of 240, 480 and 960 GB and makes use of the OCZ's own Barefoot 3 controller and 19nm NAND memory from Toshiba allowing it to achieve sequential read and write performance of 550 and 470 MB / s respectively and rates of 98, 000 and 20, 000 IOPS in 4K random read and write.
The new OCS Saber 1000 comes with a 7mm thick aluminum chassis and a SATA III 6GB / s interface . It has a 5-year warranty, a consumption of 3.7W and Power Failure Management Plus (PFM +) protection against electrical failures.
