Oneplus won't launch mid-range phones until 2021
Table of contents:
OnePlus is a company that has been known to make a dent in the market. Although they have done it with a very curious strategy. Because the firm launches two phones a year, both high-end. The second is usually a slightly renewed version of the first. But this works well for them and they are entering many new markets. Although many want the firm to launch mid-range phones.
OnePlus won't launch mid-range phones until 2021
This is also on the horizon for the Chinese brand. Although this will have to wait, because we will have to wait at least three years until its first mid-range reaches the market.
OnePlus bets on the high range
In 2015 the brand already launched its first mid-range phone, but since then there has been no successor to it. And it seems that we will have to wait until at least 2021 for this, we might even have to wait even longer. The firm prefers to focus on the high-end, with the launch of one phone per year, which would have enough stock and good distribution. So that its international presence is guaranteed.
It is not a surprise, since OnePlus is having very good results with this strategy. Their phones sell better and better and are entering markets in Europe. So little by little they become a globally known firm.
What it seems is that they want to wait to be definitively established in the market, before expanding into other ranges such as the mid-range. We hope to know more about OnePlus plans in the future. Because they sure are interesting.
