The success of Microsoft's Xbox GamePass has prompted other companies to join the subscription fad to play the latest games. EA has taken note, and announced the arrival of new and successful games to its PC Origin Access subscription service.

EA adds new games to Origin Access

From EA's own products comes the highly successful cooperative game A Way Out, and the both controversial and acclaimed Star Wars Battlefront II developed by DICE. The rest of the games that have been added to the service come from various other publishers, including Disney and THQ Nordic. Added games include: STAR WARS Battlefront II, A Way Out, Tyranny, STAR WARS Knights of the Old Republic, STAR WARS Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords, STAR WARS: Rebel Assault I + II Bundle, The LEGO Movie Videogame and The Count Lucanor.

Keep in mind that while the ad release doesn't include Obsidian Entertainment's Tyranny, we see that the RPG is available to subscribers through the client. However, this could mean that not all regions have access to the game.

And here are the three games that exclusively come to Origin Access Premier subscribers, all of them are relatively new releases: Darksiders III, This is the Police 2, and Beholder 2.

The standard Origin Access subscription costs € 4.99 per month, providing instant access to over 150 games in the Vault, a 10% in-store discount, and testing for upcoming EA games. On the other hand, the Origin Access Premier subscription costs 14.99 euros, and includes all the advantages of the basic level. However, it also adds full access to new EA games even before they launch, and, as seen above, other popular titles.
