Adobe security patches for acrobat reader, photoshop and bridge and coldfusion among others

Although it's not Tuesday, Adobe security patches have been released today with software updates for six of their products correcting serious security vulnerabilities.
Adobe security patches released
This past week, Adobe has made a previous announcement to inform its users of a security update that is about to fall in Acrobat Reader, although today the company has revealed errors in a total of six of its most used softwares, which include:
- Adobe Genuine Integrity Service Adobe Acrobat and Reader Adobe Photoshop Adobe Experience Manager Adobe ColdFusion Adobe Bridge
According to security warnings, 29 of the 41 vulnerabilities are of critical severity, while the other 11 have been classified as important.
- The Adobe Acrobat and Reader software for Windows and macOS operating systems contain thirteen flaws, nine of which are critical. Adobe Genuine Integrity Service, an extension of the Adobe Suite that prevents users from working with fake or pirated software, has been affected by a single security flaw. Adobe Photoshop, one of the most popular photo editors among Windows and macOS users, has been affected by a total of 22 vulnerabilities, 16 of them critical. Apart from all this, Adobe also patches an information disclosure flaw. Confidential present in the Experience Manager application, two more is ColdFusion and critical errors in the Adobe Bridge digital file management application.
All of these critical errors are memory corruption issues that could lead to random execution code attacks. Only ColdFusion is saved, which could only allow attackers to view files from the installation directory.

Regardless, none of the vulnerabilities fixed in this avalanche of Adobe patches had been publicly leaked or found to be openly exploited. In any case, Adobe users are strongly recommended to download and install the latest available version of affected programs to protect their systems and businesses from possible cyber-attacks.
