Steps to reset an iphone 7 / iphone 7 plus

IPhone phones have an advanced option that allows you to reset all the settings of the equipment when they have been purchased. This is an interesting option when the equipment fails for any reason, be it because we installed an app, a virus or a bad customization of the options on our part. This option is present in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, although with the absence of the physical Home button the method is now somewhat different but equally easy to activate.

IPhone 7 / iPhone 7 Plus requires new method to reset

Since this new Home button is tactile, the new Apple terminals cannot be restored with its help, and you must use the Volume Down button. This button is located on the left side of the iPhone, and would replace the Home button of a lifetime when resetting phones.

In the image just below these lines you can see the location of the buttons that we must press to activate the recovery mode of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

1 - Lock iPhone if it is not already locked using the Power button.

2 - Simultaneously press and hold the Power button and Volume Down.

3 - Do not release the buttons until the screen turns off and back on with the Apple logo.

From that moment the phone will reset its settings and any problems you have had will disappear. Let's hope we never have to do this but we are always exposed to software problems, even on the most expensive devices.
