Steps recorder windows

The Windows Steps Recorder is a native tool that records every mouse click and generates a step-by-step of everything that was done in a kind of tutorial. This is the SR, or “Problem Steps Recorder Reproduction”.

With it you can record solutions and share with friends or family without the help of a computer expert. To do this, follow the steps below and see how to use the recorder in Windows 8 .

Step 1. On the Windows screen, right-click on an empty space and go to "All apps" in the lower right corner of the screen. Or, just search for "Steps Recorder".

Step 2. Open the "Steps Recorder" application in the "Windows Accessories" section.

Step 3. In the main program window, click "Start Recording" to start. From now on, every click is captured.

Step 4. During recording, if you have something important to add, click "Add comment". Please note that the screen will be off-white. Using your mouse, click and drag to highlight something.

Step 5. You can also leave a text comment. To do this, in the window that opens, enter the observation and click "OK".

Step 6. When you're done, click "Stop Recording" and wait for the step-by-step to be generated.

Step 7. Finally, there is the option of saving the file on your computer or sending it by email.
