Pc with amd ryzen of 1,530 is much higher than the mac pro of 5,400 euros

With the arrival of the new AMD Ryzen 7 processors, the possibility of configuring computers with an eight-core processor and a fairly affordable price for all users opens up, long gone is the time when it was necessary to invest almost 1, 000 euros only in the processor to have eight cores. A team with a Ryzen 7 processor at a cost of 1, 540 euros has come face to face with the Mac Pro of 5, 400 euros and the result has been surprising.
AMD Ryzen 7 crushes Mac Pro for three times less money
The comparison is due to youtuber Tech Guy who has taken his Mac Pro of 5, 400 euros and has put it face to face with a PC with an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 1700 processor. The Mac Pro has had an advantage by having 64 GB of RAM while the PC has settled for 16 GB of memory so as not to increase the budget by an additional 250 euros.
The showdown has taken place with Photoshop and the ' Radial Blur ' action created by photographer Keith Simonian and available here. It took the Mac Pro a total of 15 seconds to complete the test, while the PC with Ryzen 7 1700 took just 8.8 seconds. If the Ryzen is overclocked up to 3.5 GHz the time is reduced to 7.7 seconds.
A result that speaks for itself and that does not leave in a very good place the Apple team that costs more than three times the PC that we can create ourselves thanks to the new AMD processors based on the Zen micro-architecture.
