Philips has presented a new smartphone belonging to its top of the range that comes with very interesting technical characteristics and at the level of the best options on the market.
The Philips Aura i966 Aurora comes with a generous 5.5-inch screen with IPS technology and a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. In its guts hides a more than well-known Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC at 2.5 GHz, which augurs an excellent performance of the terminal, accompanied by a total of 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
The rest of the specifications include a fingerprint reader on the back of the terminal, 4G LTE connectivity, a 20-megapixel main camera with the Sony IMX220 sensor and an 8MP front camera. It is powered by a 3000 mAh battery and is governed by the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system customized by the manufacturer as Yun OS 3.0.
It is already marketed in China at an exchange price of 475 euros.
