There are not a few times that it has been speculated with the possibility (or rather wish?) That the iPad Pro incorporated support for the use of a mouse. Now, this rumor takes shape after MacStories editor-in-chief Federico Vitici has suggested in the latest episode of the Connected podcast that the USB mouse support could come to the iPad Pro as an accessibility feature.

Using a mouse on an iPad Pro could be a reality

For many users, the support for the use of a mouse is what the iPad Pro needs to be able to assert itself as the alternative to the computer. Certainly, there are some actions that are complicated on a touch screen, such as the selection of text, something that with a mouse and a pointer on the screen would be as agile as on a computer.

After adding a stylus (from what it was previously disowning) and a keyboard (from what it was also disowning before), now Apple could be seriously considering adding support for the use of a mouse on the iPad Pro, which would be an incredible and excellent news. At least this has been suggested by the chief editor of MacStories, who assures that it is something he “heard months ago”:

"What I heard is that without the adapters, you can use any USB mouse on your iPad, but as an accessibility device, " said Viticci. "The iPad Pro has a USB-C port, so just plug in a USB mouse, and if you have a physical impairment, if you have any other type of motor deterioration, just use a USB mouse in accessibility mode."

Viticci cautions that this is something he "heard months ago" and is unsure "if it will happen, " but well-known developer Steve Troughton-Smith also tweeted that "as far as I know, that's precisely under construction. I feel that all professional users will activate it from the first day.

Troughton-Smith also speculated that iOS could perhaps have "a small circle or dot" as a cursor instead of the traditional pointer. Will we see this novelty with iOS 13?
