Plextor m8pe is the new ssd pci
Plextor has announced the launch of its new Plextor M8Pe SSD mass storage unit that comes with a PCI-Express interface and NVMe protocol to deliver maximum performance to the most demanding users.
The Plextor M8Pe is the company's first SSD to run on the NVMe protocol, offering random read and write rates of up to 150, 000 IOPS and 127, 000 IOPS respectively. It comes with an M.2 form factor and includes the most advanced technologies such as PlexTurbo 3.0 and a RAM cache system to improve its performance along with PlexCompresor and PlexVault to keep data safe and compress it while saving space.
The Plextor M7V has also been announced, arriving with a SATA III interface and PlexTurbo technology to offer random read and write rates of 95, 000 IOPS and 87, 000 IOPS respectively. Its features are completed with the use of TLC memory that should allow Plextor to offer the device at a very competitive price.
