The Plextor M8Se is the company's new top-of-the-range SSD that makes use of the new Marwell Eldora controller alongside 3-bit TLC NAND memory technology manufactured by Toshiba under its 15nm process.

With these characteristics, the new SSD is capable of reaching sequential read speeds of 1850/2400/2450/2450 MB / s and a sequential data write speed of 570/1000/1000/1000 MB / s. We continue with 4K random performance that reaches read and write figures of 135, 000 / 80, 000 IOPS for the 128GB and 256GB models and 210, 000 / 175, 000 IOPS for the 5123GB and 1TB models.
All of them have a long useful life ranging from 80 TBW to 160, 320 and 640 TBW respectively. Finally we highlight the presence of a blue light strip in its casing. They will go on sale in June or July.
