Finally, Sony has taken advantage of IFA 2015 to present its new top-of-the-range smartphones belonging to the Xperia Z5 family, confirming the specifications that had been rumored.

The Sony Xperia Z5 premium will feature a 5.2-inch Triluminos Display screen with an impressive 4K resolution 3840 x 2160p pixels that translates to 806 ppi, something never before seen on a smartphone.

Beneath its hood is a controversial 2.00 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC with Adreno 430 graphics, alongside it 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage expandable by up to an additional 200 GB. All this at the service of the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

The optics of the terminal proves to be at the highest level with a 23-megapixel rear camera capable of focusing in 0.03 seconds and recording 4K video, as for the front camera it has an 8-megapixel unit.

IP68 water and dust resistance and a 3, 430 mAh battery that promises two days of autonomy and has a fast charge function that provides a day of autonomy in 45 minutes.

Its price is 799 euros.

Sony Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact

Both located one step below the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium in terms of screen dimensions and resolution but keeping the rest of the features intact.

The Sony Xperia Z5 mounts a 5.5-inch screen with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a 2, 900 mAh battery.

For its part, the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact is satisfied with a diagonal of 4.6 inches and a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels along with a 2, 700 mAh battery.

Their prices are 599 and 699 euros.
