Qnap officially releases qts 4.3.3

QNAP Systems, Inc. today announced the official release of QTS 4.3.3 - the smart NAS operating system that enables users to accomplish more in their professional and home lives. Along with an optimized user interface, QTS 4.3.3 provides greater "intelligence" to NAS operations and applications.

New applications and key features of QTS 4.3.3:

• Visual and insightful monitoring of resources: Reorganized resource monitor features useful charts and additional metrics to provide better functionality to analyze and manage resource utilization and storage performance. Smart Qtier ™ 2.0: With a smart optimization engine, Qtier now learns from NAS usage, analyzing system performance and peak usage hours to determine the best time and optimal transfer rates for automated tiering storage. Optimized network accessibility with Network & Virtual Switch - The Network & Virtual Switch allows NAS, virtual machines, and containers to share the same LAN port. It also supports the T2E (Thunderbolt ™ to Ethernet) Converter and the Thunderbolt virtual switching NAT service that allows Thunderbolt devices to access network resources through QNAP Thunderbolt NAS. Time Machine over SMB Backup: QTS 4.3.3 offers excellent functionality with macOS Sierra, including SMB network file sharing protocols for extensive backup scenarios. ExFAT Compatibility: Users can purchase a license that provides exFAT compatibility to directly access and edit files stored in exFAT-based storage using a QNAP NAS, creating a seamless workflow for online multimedia editing. Qfiling for automatic file organization: Qfiling automates file organization - it simply determines file conditions, configures a program, and files will be organized and archived based on configuration. File Station adds remote connections: Users can browse and transfer files directly between their QNAP NAS and public cloud services, and create shared folders from a remote NAS to a local NAS using FTP and CIFS / SMB. QTS 4.3.3 is compatible with Google Drive ™, Dropbox®, Microsoft® OneDrive®, Box®, Yandex® Disk, Amazon® Drive, Microsoft® OneDrive® for Business, and HiDrive®. Backups from USB / SATA optical disc drives: Users can connect a compatible USB / SATA optical disc drive to their NAS and directly access / copy the contents of the inserted discs to a shared NAS folder using File Station. Refined multimedia experience: all multimedia applications have a renewed user interface; Music Station has a new Spotlight mode and supports smart playlists; Video Station allows you to mark scenes, change audio tracks and download complementary data from online databases such as TMDb. QTS 4.3.3 also provides multi-zone multimedia controls for multimedia applications. Download Station now has a built-in BT search engine. More productivity apps and utilities: QmailAgent allows you to centrally manage multiple email accounts and IMAP servers; Qcontactz helps centrally manage a growing list of contacts from multiple devices and platforms; Qsync has been improved with a new team folder structure and automatic recovery functionality that greatly improves synchronization speed and stability; IFTTT Agent enables productive automation of workflow for QNAP NAS; The QTS Help Center facilitates customer support and provides an optional remote connection service for QNAP engineers to resolve NAS issues through secure 256-bit SSL encrypted connections.
