QNAP Systems Inc is proud to announce the addition of Silent NAS HS-251 + to its catalog based on powerful and efficient hardware to provide maximum entertainment.
The new Silent NAS HS-251 + is built with compact dimensions of 41.3 x 302 x 220mm and is based on a 2GHz quad-core Intel Celeron processor accompanied by 2GB of DDR3L RAM for high performance and excellent efficiency energy. It supports a wide range of multimedia applications, HDMI connectivity, real-time and offline video transcoding, and scalability to accommodate large high-definition multimedia collections. The Silent NAS HS-251 + supports up to two 8TB HDDs (not included) and supports RAID 1 and RAID 0 modes.
Its compact and fanless design makes it perfect for the living room since you can enjoy all your favorite multimedia content without any disturbing noise. In addition, its attractive design makes it ideal to place in the living room and that does not stand out next to the video game console, the satellite / cable decoder or any other digital entertainment device.
The Silent NAS HS-251 + can be connected to an HDTV or A / V receiver to enjoy the HybridDesk Station with Kodi support that allows users to enjoy the videos, music and photos stored on it, watch YouTube and navigate on the web with the QNAP remote control included free with the NAS or with the Qremote mobile app.
The device is based on the advanced QTS 4.2 operating system for a great ease of configuration and allows users to enjoy, classify, organize and backup their multimedia files in a very simple way.
You can also use your Silent NAS HS-251 + to stream your multimedia files to your Smartphone or Tablet and even to a large number of devices that have technologies such as Bluetooth, USB, HDMI, DLNA, Apple TV and Chromecast.
