Qualcomm wants to strengthen its leadership in the mobile device processor market and for this reason it does not stop working at full speed, its new star processor is the Snapdragon 835 that will arrive in 2017 manufactured in the new process at 10 nm from Samsung to offer energy efficiency levels never before seen in the Android universe.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, the new superprocessor of the future

The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor will be manufactured using Samsung's 10nm FinFET LPE ( Low Power Early ) process to achieve impressive performance while achieving tremendous energy efficiency to improve the autonomy of smartphones. Thanks to the new manufacturing process, a new chip can be offered with 27% higher performance and 40% lower energy consumption. No details of its internal architecture have been given but it will surely bet on the use of Kryo 2.0 cores, which could come in an 8-core configuration divided into two clusters, a solution very similar to that seen in the Snapdragon 820 but doubling the cores of each cluster.

We recommend our guide to the best low and mid-range smartphones on the market.

This Snapdragon 835 could debut at the Mobile World Congress in 2017 and it will surely conquer the main smartphone manufacturers. Qualcomm has claimed that there are currently more than 200 models in development based on the Snapdragon 820 and 821.
