Radeon pro 5500m navi 14, leaked in the specifications of the new macbook 16.1

Anonim

Just a couple of hours after the launch of the new 16-inch MacBook Pro, all its specifications are filtered through Geekbench, where we see the new Radeon Pro 5500M.

Today the twitter user rogame discovered a new entry in the Geekbench database where this Radeon Pro RX 5500M 4 and 8GB VRAM GDDR6 appeared. However, this is not the RX 5500 XT, but the Radeon Pro series (dedicated to workstations) called 5500M. Unlike the Radeon RX variant, the PRO version appears with 24 compute units and 1536 Stream Processors.

The real surprise is the lack of communication about the full Navi 14 specs. Not to mention that the actual launch of the Radeon RX 5500 desktop series has been somewhat disappointing. AMD has not provided a date or even a price for these mid-range graphics cards as of yet. What we know is that they will officially come this month and nothing else.

Thanks to the leak of the new 16-inch MacBook Pro we have been able to see the Radeon NAVI 14. This does not stop here, speaking of the team, we observe how it will support 32 GB of DDR4 RAM along with the Intel Core i9-9980HK, which has a total of 8 cores and 16 threads running at a base frequency of 2.40 GHz and a boost frequency of 5.00 GHz.

What do you think of this new graphic? Hopefully AMD will announce pricing and release date for desktop versions soon.
