The software allows us to configure the 9 programmable buttons to assign different functions, create and manage macros and much more . In this sense it is one of the most complete software if not the most, it even has the Hypershift function that allows us to hold down a button to change the functionality of the rest. We can create various profiles and even associate them with games and applications so that they load automatically when they are opened.
We can also adjust various aspects that affect the operation of the sensor, such as adjusting the DPI in ranges of 100 from 100 DPI to 16, 000 DPI, and individually for each axis . We continue with the acceleration of movement and ultrapolling at 1000, 500 and 125 Hz . It also offers us the possibility of calibrating the sensor with the surface of our mat.
We are dealing with a product with Chroma lighting, so this section is one of the most extensive within the Razer Synapse application. We have the possibility to configure the lighting in color, intensity and light effects to better adapt it to our tastes.
- Wave : Swap the color scale and make a customizable wave effect in two directions. Spectrum Cycle : Cycles of all colors. Breathing : It allows us to choose 1 or 2 colors and they alternate for several seconds. Chroma Experience : Make a color combination starting from the equator of the mouse. Static : A single fixed color. Custom themes .
The last section corresponds to power management, so that the lighting goes out and the mouse goes into sleep after a while without using it.

Razer continues to work to renew its assortment of gamer peripherals. This time the Californian has sent us one of her most interesting mice, the Razer Mamba Wireless that includes a very advanced optical sensor with a maximum resolution of 1600 DPI and its acclaimed Chroma lighting system. It also has a long-lasting internal battery so you can use it throughout the day without the hassle of the cable. If you want to know more, don't miss our complete review in Spanish.
First of all, we thank Razer for the trust they placed in giving us the Mamba Wireless for analysis.
Razer Mamba Wireless technical features
Unboxing and design
The Razer Mamba Wireless has arrived as part of a special Razer press kit, so we cannot show you the commercial presentation. This kit has a spectacular design, with a large well-padded box and a plastic piece that is responsible for covering all products and protecting them in the best way. Next to the mouse we find the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate keyboard and the Razer Kraken Pro Tournament Edition headset, each of them will have its independent review, so Razer has asked us.
The Razer Mamba Wireless is manufactured with the brand's characteristic black plastic, a top quality material that ensures great resistance while keeping the product very light. This mouse has dimensions of 125 x 70 x 43.2 mm (Length x Width x Height) and an approximate weight of 106 grams. It is an incredibly light mouse, which will give it great agility in glides. Another advantage of being wireless is that we avoid carrying the weight of the cable. With an asymmetrical design and a dome shape it is more oriented towards a claw grip rather than the classic palm. This design has been thought to offer maximum comfort to right-handed users.
At the top of the Razer Mamba Wireless are two programmable buttons that come pre-configured to change the DPI level of the sensor, from a minimum of 800 DPI to 16, 000 DPI. Remember that a high DPI value allows us to make a great tour with a very small movement of the mouse so it will be especially suitable for multi-monitor configurations. In contrast, low DPI values will be ideal in games where high precision of movement is required.
We also see the two main buttons and the scroll wheel, which is quite generous in size and offers very smooth gliding on short and long runs. It also has a rubber finish for better grip and to prevent our finger from slipping. We highlight that the wheel offers four-axis displacement, something very useful and that unfortunately there are few mice that include it.
On the left side we can see that Razer has mounted two programmable buttons that are configured to go back and forth in web browsing. Under the buttons we find a rubber pad to improve the grip on our hand and prevent the mouse from flying off in sudden and sudden slides. On the right side we have nothing beyond another rubber pad.
With this we have a total of 9 programmable buttons, all of them with a very good touch that denotes the great quality of this mouse. Under the buttons we have OMRON mechanisms that ensure a life of 5 0 million clicks, this is a high quality mouse and made to last.
On the back we find the logo of the brand that this time is part of the Chroma lighting system as well as the wheel, then we will see it in detail.
At the bottom we see the optical sensor and three Teflon surfers for a very smooth glide. In this case, it's the Razer PMW 3389 sensor, which offers a maximum sensitivity of 16, 000 DPI, a sampling rate of 400 IPS and an acceleration of 50G. This sensor is still a slight customization of the PixArt PMW 3360 to suit the demands of Razer. It is the best sensor in the world so the quality is beyond doubt. To power this sensor, a battery with a duration of 50 hours has been installed , more than enough to work and play for several days without going through the charger.
Razer encloses a 2.54 GHz receiver and an amplifier at your fingertips.
The software allows us to configure the 9 programmable buttons to assign different functions, create and manage macros and much more. Final words and conclusion about Razer Mamba Wireless
Razer Mamba Wireless is an incredible product that will delight the most demanding, because we finally have a Mamba with the best sensor on the market, and it is wireless on top. This mouse offers us the best precision on the market, without the hassle of cable and weighing less than wired mice. As if that were not enough, its battery guarantees several days of use without going through the charger, especially with the lighting off. In our tests we have used it for more than a week, with an average of 5 hours a day and we did not have to go through the charger until the end of the week. Its design is very comfortable in the hand, this has always been one of the virtues of Razer mice and this model is no exception. Personally, he is one of the best suited to my hand.
We recommend the best mice on the market
The Synapse 3 software is amazing, because it is very well organized and we can manage everything in a very comfortable way, it is a well-worked application, it shows. The lighting puts the finishing touch, although better if we have it turned off to save energy, if you do not mind shortening the autonomy ahead, you will be the envy of your friends.
In short, the Razer Mamba Wireless is without a doubt one of the best mice on the market and well worth trying. Its official price is 99 euros, quite high but we believe it is worth it.
