A few days ago we were commenting on the second generation of Razer phones, Razer Phone 2, that the green company was preparing for gamers. Today we have some first ' benchmarks ' that are emerging from this phone and that appeared on GeekBench.

Razer Phone 2 will use the Snapdragon 845 processor

In the company's latest earnings report, Razer confirmed its plans to launch a second-generation model of its Razer phone, hoping to build a success saga on the first-generation Razer Phone.

Razer Phone 2 has appeared on Geekbench, sporting what appears to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, which replaces the Snapdragon 835 that was used in the original. In this test, the Snapdragon 845 appears as "ARM implementer 81 architecture 8 variant 6 part 2050 revision 13", an identifier used with Geekbench's well-known Snapdragon 845 devices, such as the OnePlus 6.

Results show great improvement in multithreading performance

The benchmark result can be seen here, revealing slightly higher single-core performance than its predecessor and a significant increase in multithreading performance.

Assuming that this data is credible, the Razer Phone 2 will offer the same amount of RAM as its predecessor, which was 8GB, although at this time the other specs of the phone remain unknown. The original Razer phone offered users a 5.7-inch screen with 1440p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, a 4, 000mAh battery, and support for Dolby ATMOS.
