Razer zone at dreamhack 2018

Another year, Dreamhack Valencia appears in 2018 and consequently the Razer Zone. As usual in Dreamhacks, Razer enables the Razer Zone to present the most notable news of this year about its products and which direction they are going the rest of the year.

Razer Huntsman Elite

The main feature of this keyboard is its optomechanical switches. It's optical technology for speed and a key stabilizer bar for every press to be precise and exact.

In addition, it has a digital dial with controls dedicated to multimedia. This functionality is designed to adjust the brightness, volume and other multimedia functions. Of course, with Synapse 3 we can reprogram the functions of the dial to our liking.

Thanks to its hybrid memory, we can store all the functions programmed with Synapse, even if we do not have an Internet connection, even being able to save up to 5 different profiles, which leads to 5 different customization programs.

Finally, the most visible part of the keyboard. The keyboard features a magnetic ergonomic palm rest that snaps into the front. Its RGB mode is activated or deactivated when it is hooked.

Razer Mamba HyperFlux

There are two things that bother me about a mouse pad and a wireless mouse. The mats are too expensive for the functionality they provide and the wireless mice are too heavy for the battery they have to carry. Razer seems to have listened to me and created this model .

For this, the new mat is a wireless charger for the mouse, therefore it does not need to carry any type of battery. With this we achieve that the mat plays an important role in our set and has an ultralight mouse.

Razer Kiyo

Now comes the Andalusian CAM for streamer (Razer's fault for leaving me the easy jokes…). The remarkable thing about the Cam is that it is a perfect starter set for streamer for a low cost and installation.

To get an image with a minimum of quality, you need a cam and a couple of bulbs. This product can be a quick fix for first-time streamers. Since I am not a streamer, I cannot say if it is a good option for professional use, but hey, the idea is good to save space at home when recording and on the web we already analyzed it with the Broadcast Studio kit?

And here is the most expected from my point of view. At this point in the story, the famous “ Smarthphone Gaming ” is not new, but Razer had the courage to take the first step and motivate the rest of the manufacturers to take one out.

Personally the aesthetics seems to me to be improvable, but that does not mean that its specifications are brutal. The only thing I see wrong with this type of product is its price range. Most of the users prefer to play it safe and go to the veteran brands on Smarthphones.
