As usual, we have gone to DreamHack 2019 and, therefore, we have gone through the Razer Zone to see first-hand all the news that it has prepared for us. This year the area was hosted in the middle of the LAN Area, together with the e-Sport Clubs and the Gamers and in this situation they presented us with the following products.

The Razer & Philips alliance

We all know that Razer does a lot of things well, but if there's one thing they do especially well, it's their Chroma range with Chroma Studio software. This very complete software allows us to customize the RGB of our peripherals with the limit of our own imagination.

Philips knows this very well and that is why they have created the following Hue Go, Hue Go and Hue Play products to complement the lighting in our setup along with the peripherals. All this is personalized from the Chroma Studio itself and all the advantages that this entails. In addition, with the new Chroma SDK, video game developers can take control of your RGB lighting to adapt it to what is shown on screen, giving an unbeatable environment.

The Setups offered in Razer

To see the full potential of Philips ambient lighting, Razer prepared two setups for its peripherals, one with the classic black peripherals and the other with the white Mercury range.

For the most classic gamer like me we have the black peripherals, the Razer of a lifetime. This setup was made up of the following products:

• BlackWidow: The keyboard is mechanical with Razer Green keys, specially designed for an immediate response in video games. The durability of these mechanical keys is no less than 80 million keystrokes. Mamba Wireless: The Razer Mamba Wireless is designed so you can play for hours without restriction. With 150% longer battery life than its predecessor and equipped with special gaming features to deliver the ultimate in wireless performance, Goliathus Extended Chroma: Made using microtextured fabric, is a material optimized to work seamlessly with Optical and laser sensors, so you won't have a problem with any of them.Kraken Tournament Edition: These headphones are a new improved variant of the Razer Kraken Pro V2, which comes with pads with cold gel system, more headband padding to make them even more comfortable in the ears, plus an improved background noise cancellation system for the microphone.

And, finally, the second most innovative setup with the color white. The Mercury range was first launched in 2017 and with its white and matte, silver and gray finishes, they bring a minimalist look to Razer's most popular products.

• Huntsman Mercury: This new keyboard has been designed with Opto-Mechanical switches and Razer Chroma customizable backlit keys. It provides us with the fastest action and activation of keys within the line of keyboards of the brand. The Razer Opto-mechanical switches use optical technology, an infrared light beam inside each switch, that detects its operation when a key is pressed.Basilisk Mercury: It stands out for being equipped with powerful features. Among them stands out its removable multifunction trigger, and a resistance adjustment system of its scroll wheel. Thanks to them, the Basilisk offers a dynamic range of options that allow you to increase its performance and expand your gaming experience.Goliathus Extended Chroma Mercury: The brand's most popular mat is renewed, now powered by Chroma technology, ready to illuminate your games and your victories with their colors. As you mouse over the mat, you can see how it glows brightly. It also controls speed and pressure.Kraken Mercury: The third generation of Raser Kraken headphones is intended for the most demanding gamers. It comes with its 50mm speakers that provide crystal clear sound.
