Whatsapp renewal: paypal

Anonim

Without a doubt, Whatsapp Messenger is the star application in the smartphone world. Since the beginning of March, our terminals are advising us of the expiration of the program and we must pay 0.78 cents of euros to renew it and continue using it for another year.

Months ago some users received this message: "Your WhatSapp account has expired, we have extended its free use with number 666-66-66-66 for up to x months." Free renewal periods go up to 2014 and even 2020.

If you are not one of the lucky ones, you may be wondering what payment methods are available?

We can use our credit card (using Google Wallet / Checkout) or Paypal. The first method is reliable, but why should they have our card number? If they already have a phone, name, address, email, contact numbers… We just need to give them the car and house keys.

First we check if our version of WhatsAPP allows us to pay by PayPal following the following route:

WhatsAPP -> Menu Key -> Settings -> Account info -> Account info.

If only our "+34" + our phone number, expiration date and the "Buy Online" button appear. Luck has not smiled on us this time either, the application does not allow us to pay by paypal.

I have checked to uninstall and install and I have been surprised that WhatsApp has given me 10 more days of service. This is not a future solution since you would like to pay it by paypal.

We go to the official WhatsApp page for Android:

We downloaded the application from our browser. We look for the.apk file and install the application. The system will launch the following message: "The currently installed WhatsApp application will be replaced by a new one."

Once we have the WhatsApp application installed, we will check the Account Information again (WhatsAPP -> Menu Key -> Settings -> Account info -> Account information). As we can see in the following image, two new buttons appear: "Send payment address" and "Pay by paypal".

Option 1: "Google Wallet": We discard this option since it forces us to pay by credit card and, as we have said before, we do not want to give more information.

Option 2: "Paypal": The browser of our Smartphone opens. Click on "Pay with Paypal".

It tells us that the amount will be $ 0.99 = € 0.78 and we click on "Pay now".

We wait a few seconds and payment will occur.

Option 3: "Send payment address"

This option also opens the browser. We enter our email and click send email. In a few minutes an email will arrive with a link. Important: I recommend you follow these steps from our computer:

It is a simple and intuitive page. We choose the option "Paypal payment" and make the payment.

Note: For the “We will turn off” and “turn on” the mobile to take effect and we will already have WhatsAPP updated.
