Antec only assembles the best components in its products. The EA-750 Green is Bronze 80 plus certified with an efficiency of up to 88%. It is certified for NVIDIA SLI and ATI CROSSFIREX Multi-GPU configurations.

With the traditional Antec style in their boxes, comes the 750w Antec EarthWatts Green. We see the SLI stamps, certified 80 plus Bronze and ecological.

The first thing we see is that it is not modular and the cables are collected by cable ties.

The fountain is painted in army green. It incorporates a 135 mm fan, specifically an ADDA ADN512UB-A90 with 0.44 amps and a flow rate of 82 CFM.

The back is not new: bee panel, power switch and outlet.

On the left side we have the characteristics of the PSU. The 12v line is divided into 4 rails of 40 amps each giving a total of 750w.

To see at what level our power supply works, we are going to check the energy efficiency and stability of its lines. We have made versus against its "gaming" partner the Antec HCG-620w with 80 PLUS Bronze certificate.

Antec Earth Watts series is designed for energy efficiency, a nice nod to the environment. Antec has accustomed us to the core is of the highest quality, in this case a Delta Electronics and an ADDA fan that works at good revolutions.

In our test bench we have treated the source with the 620w High Current Gamer series. The performance is similar, but in energy efficiency it is slightly higher. We have also performed sound tests and its idle fan is extremely quiet. Electrical noise in idle / full? None, quite a luxury.

We would have liked the EA 750w to have modular management. These details are always a plus for the perfect ventilation of our equipment and the organization of the wiring.

It can be found by online stores around € 115. Perhaps a price that is not within everyone's reach, but justifiable for the quality of its components.
