Review: antec hcg

Antec is one of the best companies in the manufacture of sources on the market and among its numerous series, there is one dedicated to the Gamers world. This is the "High Current Gamer" series, consisting of five models: HGC-400/520/620/750 and 900W.

As we have previously commented, the fountain has a Bronze 80 plus certificate with an efficiency of up to 88%. Antec assembles the best components in its products. For this review HGC900 has used a Delta Electronics core, high quality Japanese capacitors, a 13.5 cm Adda ADN512UB-A90 double ball fan with 82 CFM airflow and loudness up to 36dBA. Your + 12V Rail is shared by several 40-amp lines. They are capable of withstanding peaks of more than 50th, thanks to their OCP technology (Protection against excess current).

We are very happy with the power offered by Antec's new High Current Gamer series. This time we have had the HCG900w in our laboratory. We think it is perfect for the most enthusiastic players. It allows us current SLI and CrossFireX configurations comfortably.

It has been able to compete with the Seasonic X-750w with a gold certificate. This is due to the quality of its components, such as its Delta Electronics core and its Japanese capacitors.
