Arctic presents the headphones in a small box.
On the back it describes its main characteristics and the tests carried out by TweakTown.
The box includes:
- Headphones Arctic E461-BMConnector Y: it offers us separate audio and microphone output. Spare pads. Small purse.
In the purse we find two pad sets. Very useful to use helmets for years.
The headphone jack is the standard 3.5 mini jack.
The helmets incorporates hands free for our mobile phones / smartphones.
The helmets are silver. Aesthetically they are precious.
We really liked the Arctic E461-BM helmets both for their aesthetics and the large number of spare parts and accessories that it includes (pads, purses, cables…).
To test it we have carried out three types of tests:
- We have connected both the computer and our mp3 (Sansa 4gb clip) with the integrated sound card. The sound quality is quite good for both pop and black music. With music with a lot of bass it has a bad time, and we lose sound quality. Answer in games. By incorporating a cable that separates both channels (audio and microphone). The result has been remarkable with Left4Dead and Battelfield Bad Company 2. The last test was with a HTC Desire Z smartphone. Android has recognized it as a compatible device and we have used all the options available with the operating system.
The price of helmets ranges from € 15. Taking into account that high-end headphones cost around € 60 to € 100. The Arctic E461-BM offers us multiple utilities, make it a safe purchase.
