As we can see in the characteristics we are in front of a very complete motherboard. With support for i3 / i5 / i7 CPU, with the new P67 B3 chipset, support up to 32gb of 2133/1866/1600 Mhz RAM, Multi GPU Ati and Nvidia, 4 Sata 2 ports and 2 Sata 3 ports with Raid 0 possibility, 1, 5, 10, Dual Gigabyte Intel Network card, UEFI BIOS and with great overclocking capacity thanks to its 16 + 2 digital phases.

Now let's go deeper into some peculiarities:

To start we will talk about what the abbreviation VRM means: Voltage regulation modules. They are one of the main modules of the motherboards, since they are responsible for supplying the necessary voltage for the CPU with the highest possible accuracy. ASUS DIGI + VRM includes a programmable "microprocessor" that manages the board power digitally. The power phases are 16 + 2 which can dynamically adjust PWM voltage and frequency modulation in BIOS.

In this image we can see the dissipation in the phases.

The improvements can be summarized in:

· Faster detection and response.

· Superior cooling.

CPU power x 2.

The ultimate turbo processor. It's a switch that's on the motherboard that offers more precise voltage control for your overclocking. While EPU, is a technology that monitors the load of the system and adjusts the consumption accordingly, allowing to reduce the noise of the fan and prolonging the useful life of the components.

Let's see the box in detail:

As we see in the image, it includes: usb 3.0 x2 front adapter, sata 3.0 / 6.0 cables, back plate, sli bridge, installation disc and manuals.

WE RECOMMEND YOU Review: Asus X99 Deluxe

In these images we have appreciated how well the motherboard looks and its excellent cooling.

Thanks to its powerful phases we have carried out several tests with Overclocking with an Intel 2600k, reaching the processor up to 5ghz with 1.42v over the air. We have also overclocked 4.6ghz with 1.30v. Giving a more than acceptable result in 3dMark Vantage: 72951 points.

The ASUS P8P67 Deluxe can be an excellent choice for high-end users on socket 1555. The high quality can be clearly seen in the cooling, the voltage regulators, the phases and the UEFI BIOS has been greatly improved over the previous bios. After our tests and more than a month of use, the board that responds solidly to all kinds of tests and its performance is exceptional. But to assess the pros and cons, we leave you with our already classic table:

ADVANTAGE

DISADVANTAGES

+ Quality components: 16 + 2 digital phases, EPU, TPU, etc…

- Layout in PCIE could be better for multigpu systems.

+ Great Overclocking ability.

+ Error LEDs.

+ Three years guarantee.

+ Bluetooth support for overclocking and monitoring.
