The kit includes a very complete bundle, consisting of:

In these two images we can see that it is a pre-assembled kit from the factory, with its liquid in the block and fixed pipes. The view of the product is excellent.

The block is 100% copper as is the radiator. This one has an alphacool pump inside that spins all the liquid together with a small tank. View of the block and the fittings that we can exchange for ones of 16/13 or 19/13 with G1 / 2 notches.

As we have explained, the radiator is completely copper, raising its value but also a supreme quality.

Fitting detail.

The tubes are very flexible and give us a lot of leeway. Although you have to be careful, because some users have wrongly assembled the kit and it has poured liquid to force them too much. Although it is a pre-assembled liquid cooling kit, but it is open and is not sealed for as many movements as a closed one.

1150/1155 socket installation

Both the screws and accessories for each socket are separated by an airtight but not labeled plastic blister. The manual brings everything very well illustrated but on a very small scale. To be honest, I looked over and saw that I was getting more and more involved, which is why I started riding the Eisberg 120L Prestige following my instinct.

The platform that is within the reach of most pockets is the 115X and therefore we have mounted it with Intel Haswell. We fit the Intel adapters in the block, beware, the anchorage must be perfect.

We have 4 screws with hooks that we must anchor in the holes of the socket. A picture is worth a thousand words.

We adjust the "long screw" to the hooks, they are like rods.

We apply the thermal paste in the processor and place the block.

Now we only have to install the washer, the spring and the nut. We tighten to the maximum and we have installed our block. It only remains to install the radiator in the box and connect the 3-pin cable with or without a 7V to 12V adapter to the motherboard.

To test the actual performance of the liquid cooling kit we have stressed the Intel i5 4670k (Socket 1150) processor with prime numbers (Prime95 custom) for over 24 continuous hours. For those who do not know, Prime95, is a well-known software in the overclocking sector, which allows us to detect failures when the processor works 100% for long hours. In the same situation we have programs that use other stress algorithms such as Linx and Intel Burn TestV2.

How are we going to measure the processor temperature?

We will use the internal sensors of the processor. For this test on Intel processors we will use the “Core Temp” application in its latest version. Although it is not the most reliable test, it will be our reference in all our analyzes. The test bench will be around 29ºC ambient temperature.
