Review: corsair vengeance c70 military

Corsair, the market leader in the manufacture of boxes, power supplies and memory, has introduced a new series of boxes. This is the Corsair Vengeance C70 Military case. A steel chassis, with an aggressive design and equipped with all current technologies: 6 SSDs, dual USB 3.0 ports, ten fans and eight PCI-E card slots.

Corsair has used a sturdy cardboard box to house its Corsair C70 box. The important thing is the interior!

It comes perfectly protected by polystyrene and a plastic bag.

The box Corsair sent us is the Green Military. A different but very aggressive touch, and that is perfectly camouflaged in shooter games (BF3, COD…).

The front part is divided into three parts:

1. Buttoning. 3 bays of 5.25 ″ Grille with filters for 120 mm fans.

The buttons are amazing. On / off button (red), hard disk led, audio input / output, two USB 3.0 connectors and reset button with hatches for emergencies.

Powder? No thanks! The box includes two filters at the bottom. Excellent idea!

It does not have a rubber leg, but are steel sheets with anti-vibration tape.

The left side includes a window. It is, incorporates the possibility of installing up to 2 120mm or 140mm fans.

To avoid vibrations with the glass and the fans. Includes silentblocks to avoid any annoying noise.

To open and close the windows we will use the Corsair easy open system, in the form of a clasp.

The top of the box includes two handles to easily transport the tower.

It was time for some company to design a system to collect the rear cables. How beautiful and organized I am with the Corsair system.

And yes, we can extract hard drive cabs to install large graphics cards.

The box inside is fully painted in matt army green.

The box includes a rear grill for any type of power supply and size (12/13 / 13.5 and 14 cm). In addition, several rubber stops that will dampen vibrations.

The box allows us to install up to 6 storage units. Among them 3.5 (traditional uro disk) or 2.5 (ssd) drives. Both cabins can be removed.

The cooling system is not far behind. Corsair has equipped the box with two fans focused on the graphics card, to quickly extract hot air.

And a 120 mm fan that will be in charge of sending the air to the outside.

As usual at Corsair. Includes Cable Management / Cable Router strategically positioned on the steel plate.

The upper part can be removed and we find the filter mentioned above.

And the hole for 120 and 140 mm fans. Installation must be done by removing hard drive cabs.

The Corsair Vengeance C70 box is a box made of premium steel, with three colors available (black, white and army green), excellent storage, transport and cooling possibilities.

We must highlight its great design. Starting from the very interesting and attractive front panel (reminiscent of the control panel of a tank), its multitude of filters and its special clasp style system to open and close each window.

The Corsair C70 includes three 120mm fans (two facing the graphics and one rear) that allows optimal cooling. Although it allows us to install up to 10 fans, becoming one of the queens of air cooling.

To check the performance we have used our 2600k processor at 4600 mhz, an Asus Maximus IV Extreme motherboard and a GTX580 Direct CU II graphics card. Having excellent temperatures:

The detail that I liked the most is the excellent cable management and its innovative rear cable routing system. That allows us to hide and organize cables cleanly.

In short, the Corsair C70 is positioned in one of the best performance / gaming boxes on the market. Its aggressive design, its compatibility with high-end graphics cards and its excellent cooling system make it a box to consider.

Its recommended retail price will be around € 139 and will soon arrive in Spain.
